Our Mission
Independent Living Services is a nonprofit agency whose purpose is to assist in making a better life possible for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in central Arkansas. Independent Living Services recognizes each person as different and provides an array of services to best meet individual needs and maximize choice.
Our History
From what started as a small group home for eight men in 1970, Independent Living Services has grown to be one of the largest nonprofit organizations in central Arkansas. Today, Independent Living Services supports the needs of over 200 people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and employs over 375 people in central Arkansas. Click here to read more.

- Each person is a citizen of the United States of America and has the right to fully exercise their rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
