Softball practice schedule

All athletes competiing in the state games must attend all scheduled practices. Call Coach Ealy (501-733-9869) with any questions you may have.

All practices will take place at City of Colleges Park in Conway, Arkansas.

Sunday, May 6 – 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 13 - 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 20 - 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Bocce ball practice schedule

All practices will take place at Sallie Cone Elementary School in Conway, Arkansas.

Tuesday, May 8 – 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Thursday, May 10 - 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday, May 15 - 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Thursday, May 17 - 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Area 17 Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament slated for April 21st

Attention ILS athletes! The Area 17 Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament will be held at the Conway Human Development Center park on Saturday, April 21 at 8:30 a.m.

Athletes should wear a white t-shirt with white sweatpants or white athletic shorts (depending on the weather), a white hat and tennis shoes. No jeans, please.

Athletes are asked to provide their own transportation. If for some reason an athlete cannot obtain transportation then call Coach Ealy at 501-733-9869.

Lunch will be provided.

The tournament should be over at 1:00 p.m.

Area 17 Special Olympics Track and Field tournament scheduled for April 14th in Conway

Location: John McConnell Stadium on the campus of Conway High School West

Time: Athletes are asked to arrive at 8:15 a.m. for the line up and opening ceremonies. The tournament will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Transportation: Please contact Mark, Alicia, Clara or Robbie if you believe you are not included in the list below.

ILS Apartments will provide transportation for extras and apartment residents
Ross House will provide transportation for their athletes
Reynolds House will provide transportation for their athletes
Greenbrier Apartments will provide transportation for their athletes
Dennison House will provide transportation for their athletes
White Oak will provide transportation for their athletes
Patterson House will provide transportation for their athletes
Florentz Estates will provide transportation for their athletes

Special Olympics Basketball practice schedule

All basketball practices will be held at Greater Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Conway. The Area 17 Basketball Tournament will be held February 18th at 8:30am at the UCA HPER Center.

February 2nd – 4th, 2012

Transportation will leave from ILS Apartments at 10:30am on February 2nd and from Profiles Enrichment Center at 11:00am. Athletes will need about $30 for meals. We will return on Saturday, February 4th at 3:00pm.

Attire:

Numbered uniforms (coaches will provide)
Warm-up suits (blue or black if you own one)
Blue or black shorts for competition
Two outfits for non-competition events (*there will be a dance)

ILS wins gold at Special Olympics Flag Football Tournament

The ILS Special Olympics flag football team, led by Mark Ealy and Alicia Queen, beat Friendship Community Care of Russellville and the Angels of Jonesborro on their way to winning the gold medal. The Don Owens Sports Complex in Conway played host to 19 teams from all over the state of Arkansas.
