Close to 10% of our workforce contributes to the Independent Living Services Foundation through bi-weekly payroll contributions.
The Independent Living Services Foundation provides money primarily for our constantly expanding transportation fleet. Our fleet of over 30 vehicles provided over 200 people with developmental disabilities almost 200,000 miles of transportation last year. In addition to expanding and improving our transportation program, the Independent Living Services Foundation is used to make improvements to existing programs, develop new programs, and cover unexpected costs in the event of a major emergency.
