Donating memory boxes to Conway Regional

Individuals who attend the Profiles Day Program, a part of Independent Living Services, recently donated 11 memory boxes to the Conway Regional Perinatal Bereavement program. The handmade memory boxes will hold keepsakes for parents who have experienced the perinatal loss of an infant. The boxes were made as part of a special interest class taught by art instructor David Antonio and volunteer Joyce White. Independent Living Services consumers also provide get-well cards for children experiencing outpatient surgery at Conway Regional as well as birthday cards for homebound patients.

“It really means a lot to the parents who realize that someone made these memory boxes by hand,” said Jacquelyn Wilkerson, Director of Women’s and Infants Services at Conway Regional.
