Alternative Community Services Waiver
The ACS Waiver is a Medicaid funded program for individuals with developmental disabilities with an age of onset before age 22. Rather than living in an institution like the Conway Human Development Center, the ACS Waiver allows individuals with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community.
The program is designed to support and assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving the skills and abilities necessary to live independently in home and community-based settings.
